Randy L. Stone is President of DuPont’s Transportation & Industrial business, (T&I), a $5.6B global business with leadership positions in transportation, electronics and industrial markets. In this role, Randy directs the business’ strategy and operations, working to drive strong growth through innovation, producing value-added products that meet customer needs. 

 
 
 

With over 25 years of experience, Randy brings a depth of business knowledge and global leadership skills to his position, along with a record of success in executing for superior business results. From 2016 to 2017, Randy served as President, DuPont Performance Materials. He was named President, Transportation & Advanced Polymers (recently renamed to Transportation & Industrial) for the Specialty Products Division following the DowDuPont merger in September 2017.

In his three years as a President, Mr. Stone’s businesses have delivered record earnings, margins, and free cash flow. He is credited for implementing a growth, innovation, and operational strategy to produce superior financial results while more than doubling the segments total enterprise value.    

Mr. Stone began his career at DuPont in 2007, serving in progressive leadership roles for the DuPont Dow Elastomers joint venture and the DuPont Performance Elastomers business, the latter while located in Shanghai, China. During his tenure, he also led a global project team responsible for the development of a 50/50 joint venture with a subsidiary of China’s largest state-owned chemical company, ChemChina. In 2012 Randy was named Director, Investor Relations. In this role, he was responsible for managing external relationships with institutional investors and portfolio managers while educating investors about DuPont’s strategy and results.

Prior to joining DuPont, Randy served as a business director at Arkema and in various commercial roles at The Dow Chemical Company. Born in South Dakota, Randy earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in economics from South Dakota State University and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University. He serves on the Masters Players advisory board at the University of Delaware and formerly served as a Board Member for the United Way.
